Vigeo Eiris is recruiting a DevOps / IT Team Lead

ASAP / London / Permanent contract


To manage DevOps with delivery of our bespoke IT solutions and Management of the London IT team with responsibility for site level IT operations. Reporting directly to the Global IT Manager you will be based in the London office, and working with our other IT teams globally.


Under the responsibility of Global IT Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

• Applying your experience in DevOps to provide solutions for continuous delivery, release management and deployment of our bespoke platforms
• Working directly with project teams – developers, testers to ensure management and progress towards deployment in accordance with planning
• Writing code and supporting the deployment of services to the CI/test automation and production environments
• Contribute to and maintain documentation for systems, processes, procedures and infrastructure configuration
• Assisting with the installation, setup and configuration of internally developed systems and services
• Take the lead on responding and coordinating response to emergency situations and performing scheduled maintenance tasks
• Assisting with developing IT system policies, procedures. Enacting IT incident response, business continuity and disaster recovery plans
• Management of the London IT team, in accordance with the global strategy, planning and budgets set by the Global IT Manager
• Co-ordinating and working with other IT teams globally, and local IT contacts
• Taking part in the global IT management operations and meetings


• Computer Science (or IT relevant) Bachelor or Master or equivalent industry qualifications in Development/DevOps
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar DevOps/Development role
• Strong solutions & project management skills with excellent communication & influencing abilities.
• Experience in managing and support a CI/CD environment for web-based projects
• Ability to quickly learn and understand new tools and techniques for improving/building on existing solutions
• Ability to learn and understand existing infrastructure, systems and projects with minimal supervision

• Enable DevOps practices for larger projects, and providing options to continuous improvement
• Able to enjoy and effectively work in geographical dispersed teams, with ability to innovate.
• Experience of managing people – desirable
• Conversational knowledge of French – desirable
